After a little over a year of finding happy hours and food deals, the Eat4Cheaper app and website are shutting down. Thank you for being part of it.
Final day: Wednesday, September 30, 2026The app keeps working until September 30, 2026. After that it will stop loading deals and will be removed from the App Store and Google Play.
You can delete it from your phone whenever you like.
Every account, and all of the personal information that goes with it, will be permanently deleted when we shut down. There is nothing you need to do.
If you would rather it be gone sooner, you can delete your account in the app under Settings.
We stopped adding new deals on September 1, 2026. What is still listed may be out of date, so please confirm with the restaurant before you go.
Eat4Cheaper started in July 2025 with a simple idea: it should be easy to find out what the good deal is tonight, near you, without digging through a dozen websites and social pages. We built an app that did exactly that, and a system that read restaurant sites and posts so the deals stayed current.
The people who used it, used it well. But there were never enough of them to cover what it costs to keep the deal-finding running every month, and I would rather close it cleanly while it still works than let it slowly go stale.
To everyone who added a deal, verified one, shared one with a friend, or just showed up for happy hour because the app said so: thank you. And to the Grand Rapids restaurants and bars that gave this a shot, thank you too.
